Fujian Forecam Optics Co.,Ltd, founded in 1958 as a State owned company, is a professional lens manufacturer for commercial and military lenses.We manufacture a wide range of high quality fixed and zoom lenses for the CCTV industry and special lenses for Military customers, including the Chinese Army. We are proud to have been assigned by Chinese Government as the manufacturer of specialist lenses for monitoring the“ShenZhou”manned space program.
Forecam is one of the largest lens manufacturing Companies in China, with a registered capital of 50 million RMB and produces more than 3 million optical lenses annually. We currently employ more than 500 staff, of which more than 200 are highly qualified technicians; over 80 are engineers who are led by a team of 20 are senior engineers. There are 5 engineers deserving for the bursary from the State Council in China.Our strong R&D team has made Forecam the leader of technical innovation and research in China.
Forecam keeps at the forefront of technical development and monitors innovation around the world, to produce a series of electro optical components, which are used for tracking and guidance, space target searching and detection, security monitoring and palm-print identification.In addition to visual optics we also supply X-ray, laser, and infrared optics to meet the most demanding user requirements.
Long-term cooperation with Chinese MII, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Aerospace Science and Industry Group; Ordnance Group; Ministry of Public Security and China Shipbuilding etc; has resulted in more than 300 R&D projects, of which 80 were given a number of national and provincial level awards, and more than 30 were given invention and utility model patents.

1997 Developed the first F3.5-8mm vari-focal lens in China, which becomes the most popular lens with the largest market share in China.
2001 Developed the first F 10-200mm three motorized zoom lens in China, followed by long focal length versions of 30x, 40x etc.
2003 Developed F2,400mm lens - the longest focal length in China.
2004 Developed the first of infra-red corrected day & night lens in China.
2005 Developed an airborne visible/infrared pod system with advanced stabilized system, 360°continuous rotation in horizontal and 170°in vertical, day and night operation.
2006 Developed the first of mega pixel lens in china.Developed the first F3.5-9mm day & night lens with aspherical technology in China. Successful developed the largest diameter (400mm) transmissive lens used for space exploration in China.
2007 Developed the first F4-9mm sync focus lens in China to achieve automatically focus, and awarded the NPC. 3Mega Pixel CCTV Lens developed and in production.
2008 5Mega Pixel lens developed, and wins award from the Fuzhou Academy of Science.500mm diameter, 400mm focal length F0.8 transmissive lens designed and manufactured for the domestic astronomical community and awarded the prize for scientific achievement in Fujian Province.
2009 900mm diameter refractive developed and manufactured.
